Peanut and tree nut safe school

To make our environment safer for all children, all of our teachers and support staff receive training on food allergies, anaphylaxis and emergency treatment.

Any treats that are brought into the school, whether to celebrate your childʼs birthday or seasonal holidays, should not contain peanuts or tree nuts. You must check the ingrededients each time, as they do change occasionally.

To help determine what snacks are safe to send to school, we recommend the Safe Snack Guide, which is maintained by SnackSafely.com.

Additional resources can be found at the national Food Allergy Research and Education Site, FARE.
